I am very comfortable talking about sex. And I think I can help you feel comfortable too. After earning my PhD in Human Sexuality, I wrote, The Everything Orgasm Book (F&W Media, 2010). In all my sex therapy research I have found that communication is crucial to enjoying sex more. We have to be able to talk about sex if we are going to get the sex we want.

I know that it can be hard to talk about sex. It is still a very taboo subject. People often feel embarrassed. That's okay. There is no sexual problem that I am not familiar with. And I can assure you that I will respect you completely. Sex counseling sessions can be very healing. Please don't let your fears get in your way. Let's talk.

There are lots of ways to talk about sex. I facilitate workshops and forums where people can meet and share about their sexual experiences. I offer support groups and small classes in Santa Cruz and Berkeley, where people can address specific sex therapy topics. And I offer private sex counseling sessions for individual or couples.
